Medivisor Launches First-Ever CPR and Emergency Response Training for Patients and Attendants

Aiming to Make the Treatment Journey Informative, Engaging, and Life-Changing

New Delhi, India – Medivisor successfully organized its first-ever CPR and medical emergency response training workshop on Sunday, February 2, at Hotel Bluestone, marking the beginning of an initiative that will be conducted regularly for new medical guests and their attendants. The program was designed to ensure that their stay in India is not just about treatment but also about learning essential, life-saving skills they can take back home.

The inaugural session focused on Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)—a crucial technique that can double or even triple a person’s chances of survival in cases of sudden cardiac arrest. However, Medivisor plans to expand the workshop to cover a wide range of emergency response techniques, ensuring that attendees gain practical knowledge on handling various medical situations.

A Workshop Beyond Treatment: Creating a Meaningful Experience

Understanding that many patients and their attendants spend weeks or months in India for treatment, Medivisor initiated this program to add value beyond healthcare. The goal is to ensure that when they return home, they carry not only improved health but also vital knowledge that can help their families and communities.

“Our mission is to transform the medical journey into something more meaningful,” said Mr. Kumar Sushant, Founder, CEO and MD at Medivisor. “This workshop isn’t just about CPR—it’s about equipping our medical guests with skills to handle emergencies confidently. We will continue conducting these sessions regularly, covering a variety of life-saving techniques.”

Key Highlights of the First Workshop

  • Understanding Medical Emergencies: How to recognize and respond to critical situations

  • Hands-Only CPR: Step-by-step guidance on performing effective chest compressions

  • Rescue Breathing: Proper techniques for trained individuals

  • Managing Common Medical Emergencies: Handling choking, fainting, and strokes

  • Use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED): When and how to use an AED

  • Real-Life Simulations & Q&A: Interactive training with practical demonstrations

Regular Workshops for Every New Medical Guest

Following the success of the first workshop, Medivisor is committed to conducting ongoing training sessions at regular intervals for new patients and their attendants. Future workshops will expand beyond CPR, covering critical first-aid techniques for drowning, burns, fractures, and other medical emergencies.

Building a More Prepared and Informed Community

By integrating lifesaving training into the medical journey, Medivisor ensures that its guests leave India with not just good health, but also valuable knowledge that can benefit their loved ones and communities.
