Dr. Anvay Mulay is a highly distinguished Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgeon currently serving as the Director of the Department of Cardiac Surgery at Sir H. N. Reliance Foundation Hospital, Mumbai. Heart Transplantation: Performing western India’s first successful heart transplant. To date, he and his team have completed over 160 heart transplants, the highest volume in the region.
Mechanical Circulatory Support: Performing the first Left Ventricular Assist Device (LVAD) implantation in western India, providing a critical lifeline for patients with advanced heart failure.
Heart Failure Clinic: Establishing western India’s first comprehensive Heart Failure Clinic in 2015 to provide integrated, long-term care for cardiac patients.

Minimally Invasive Surgery: In 2010, he launched the Comprehensive Minimally Invasive Cardiac Surgery Programme in Maharashtra, focusing on techniques that allow for smaller incisions, less pain, and faster recovery times.
