Dr. Rajgopal is a surgeon of many "firsts" in the Indian healthcare landscape. He was the first to perform bilateral total knee replacement surgery (replacing both knees in a single session) and the first to introduce minimally invasive total knee replacement in India. His expertise also includes the first virtual total knee replacement using patient-specific instrumentation and the pioneering use of gender-specific knee implants, ensuring that surgical interventions are tailored to the unique anatomy of each patient.
As a "designer surgeon," Dr. Rajgopal’s influence extends far beyond the operating theater.
